Casita Pio is a restored holiday home for adults only (under 2’s welcome). There are amazing views of the Cardo mountains from your private sheltered terrace outside the Casita. Enjoy the peace and tranquility The Finca is situated amongst Olives, Pines, Cherries and Almond trees. Walks straight from the Finca around the lanes of wild flowers and herbs. A wonderful place to relax and unwind with all the comforts of home. With your own private terrace with outside dining and gas bbq. The Casita is private and is attached to the back of the main house, the casita has its own entrance and is secluded with a private courtyard with outside dining and bbq area. Through the gardens and a gate is the shared swimming pool (with the owners) where sun loungers and parasols afford you the chance to truly relax watching the mountains change and may even be lucky to see a Bonellis eagle, Hoopoes or Yellow Oriels. There is zero light pollution and the Cosmos can be enjoyed in all its glory from the Casita’s courtyard. If you get bored relaxing by the pool, the beach is a short 20 minutes drive, where boats can be hired and snorkelling in the Mediterranean enjoyed. There are many restaurants to cater for everyone's needs. The Casita itself has 2 spacious bedrooms with ceiling fans, 1 kingsize and 1 twin. There is a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with TV, CD players and there is good WIFI. The shower room completes this delightful cottage. The Casita, courtyard and gardens and pool along with the finca land is available for you to explore. Fiona and Jon will be available for you to ask questions. We normally text with our guests if there are any problems or queries so we can respond promptly. The Area Ribera D’Ebre has many interesting places to explore within a short drive away. The Penedes vineyards with tasting tours are a favourite for many. Miravet village has a knights temple castle towering above it and the mighty river Ebro. The river is great for boat trips, kayaking and fishing. The Via Verde is an unused train line restored into a walking and cycling route. Bikes can be hired in Benifallet station and you can cycle down to the Ebro delta. Tortosa is an interesting Roman town at the head of the Ebro delta. On the delta rice is grown for the wonderful paella, it is the largest wetland in Catalunya. A magnificent natural space to explore with many birds and wonderful sandy beaches, great for kite surfing. For shopping Rasquera is our village, 5 minutes away, with two small supermarkets, a butcher, baker, cheese maker, bar and two cafes, we are also lucky to have a chemist. There is a small market on Fridays. El Perelló is 20 minutes drive and has its market on a Saturday.  A car is essential. There is a private drive to Casita Pio and you can park next to the Casita. Finca Casa Pio and Casita Pio are off grid, solar powered with generator back up. So please don’t bring any powerful appliances. Laptops and phone chargers are fine. There is a washing machine for your use. please ask. 

We accept ONE well behaved dog as we have dogs and cats ourselves. Sorry but no cats.

Our minimum stay is 4 nights, 

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
